While Japan continues to suffer from the consequences of the 9.0-magnitude earthquake, the ensuing tsunami and nuclear accident, the factory and farm that produce Jade GreenZymes have not been affected. Jade GreenZymes barley grass is grown at the southwest tip of Japan, at the opposite end of the island and more than 1,000 kilometers (600 miles) from the Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear plant. Since the winds will blow any radioactivity in a northeasterly direction, there is little chance of contamination to the growing area.

In addition, this year's growing season is already over—the Jade GreenZymes have been processed and are in the warehouse. Nevertheless, to ensure the highest quality and efficacy of our product, a third party, certified laboratory will test samples of each batch of Jade GreenZymes for radioactivity.
